Our beloved forestcat4, moderator extraordinaire,  has had a rough year.  She was recently in the hospital and sent these pics to show how much better life at home is than life in a hospital with a silly "no cats allowed" rule.  Get well soon forest! Everyone in the chat misses you and is thinking about you often.

Update: Merc and Charlie... Day 1

These pics came the day after Merc's adoption but the blog did not receive them until today.  I'm sure we will see more soon.  These are Merc and Charlie checking each other out.

Hi KR,

 

Hope you and yours are well.  The kittens are doing very well. Their ears are clearing up. They saw our Veterinarian(s) on Mon. Feb 4, 2013. She gave them a clean bill of health. Stool samples were negative/normal.

 

Eating very well. They eat Lifes Abundance (http://www.treoshappypets.com/)

 

Our other 4 kitties treat them cautiously well. 

 

Lee and I just love them dearly.

 

We got them a brand new Cat Tree (we 2 others in our home) They have lots of kitten safe toys.

 

Including 3 new photos:  1. is Mooch and new older brother Tokimitsu (grey striped)  2. Mooch and Earl eating with Tokimitsu

3. Earl takes a drink of water.

 

Will send more later.

Update!

We got home safe and sound 2/3/2012.   They flew very well, no problems.  Yes they have new names based on the Comic strip characters "Mutts" See picture below of the Mutts gang. Earl is 2nd from the left and Mooch is right next to him.  The creator of this strip is a promoter and advocate of adopting Shelter animals

 

Earl is on the left and the other is Mooch. 

Just got back from our Veterinarian. [The vet] so far has given both of them a clean bill of health. I told her about your program she was so impressed.  

Thanks ever so much for all you did for us on Sunday. I truly appreciated your help.

Mercutio's New Family!

They have been waiting since the first week Mercutio appeared on the kitten cam as a wee little thing. They are so happy to get him home and introduce him to Charlie, the kitten they adopted two weeks ago.
